In a way my journey with Smokie all started here because it was a video made at this venue that became my raw material for learning Smokie songs. With very little audible from the keyboards I set out to create my own parts, and that is what I play to this day. Last night we introduced Pete to our audience and they clearly enjoyed what they heard. Safe inside from all the Halloween witches, we weaved our own magic and the audience responded with a bit of their own. That ends a run of four very successful shows here in Ireland and now both band and audience can feel that we’re finally returning to the thing we most enjoy, and that is live music.
