Ljubljana - a favourite destination (and I can spell it)

What happens when 4,000 people, who have waited two years to see you perform, finally get together? It’s a bit like that moment when the greyhound is released to catch the hare. Everyone, band included, was eager to sample the atmosphere of last night’s show at Hala Tivoli. From first note to last it was a complete celebration of our freedom to enjoy ourselves. There has been a gap of seven years since our last performance here in Slovenia and, there’s one thing for sure, the next gap will be considerably shorter because we are already discussing our return next year. The new line up has made many fans happy during these last few performances with new material, new presentation, off the cuff humour and excellent playing. We are, as we say, ON A ROLL. It may have been our thirteenth show this year but it was jammed full of good fortune. Next stop is the far north of Norway, but first I need clean clothes.
